As Brian predicted, I offer my response. Bass: A few year ago I learned that the Ephiphone T-Bird Pro basses were being made with materials and to specs that were almost EXACTLY the same as Gibson. mahogany wings, 7 ply mahogany/maple through neck, and Gibson HB pickups. I can't really remember much beyond my own shit, because we recorded in many locations with different gear configurations over the course of a 11 months. I know to record my bass parts, we used a 57 on my 2x12 cab, a bass drum mic (pretty sure it was a Shure Beta 52A) on my 1x15 cab, and another 57 ...

Does this refer to wearing more than one belt? Like Andrew "Belts" Mauriello (aka Sixgun) back in the day? Because that is the best description of that particular affectation I've ever heard.
