I wanna see that baby!
That's awesome, Bern. Much rescpect to the wife for sticking it out for this long.
After a week of painful engorgement, getting that under control, a meeting and countless phone calls with a lactation consultant, and finally kinda sorta getting a rhythm down the last few days... I am now in the beginning stages of mastitis.
Awe-some.
The good news is we have a 2-week-old, 10-pound baby boy. The pediatrician basically gave me a high five in the office today. |

Sasky, your insurance should 100% cover a breast pump if you can get your doc to write a scrip for one. My wife had to switch to the pump for many of the reasons you have mentioned. While it may not have the "emotional benefit" at least it still provides your child with breast milk. _________________ I like your mom! |

I don't blame you. It is freaky.
I was in Anna's Taqueria once and there was a family with 2 kids. The younger kid looked to be about 3 or 4. She was eating a burrito and carrying on a conversation. Then I look over and she's standing next to her mom taking a drink straight from the breast.
If I make it to 4 months I will be happy. |
i would have slapped all three of them if i saw this. the girl, the mom, and the breast. _________________ brownies+boobs=success
