I work right down the street from NQH, and new there was some shit happening when I turned onto Hancock St from Newport Ave. I turned the corner and approached the bridge (going over the red line), and then almost crashed when the Chanel 7 News helicopter swooped over a building about 50 feet off the ground.

I thought someone maybe got hit by the train, or possibly that it derailed, but then I saw about 20 cruisers all the way from Au bon pain to NQH and figured it was something going on at the school.

so since i'm friendsies with josh's sister on facebook i asked her annnnnd shit is going down.

LISTEN TO THIS CRAZY SHIT

"okay so theres like all these rivalries at my school right now since we got a larger black community of students. so some kids were fighting after school in the caf where the wrestling team was practicing and a knife was pulled but they guys calm down and left. but then behind the school they picked the fight up again. and the older brother of one of the boys pulled out a gun and shot there other kid. the kids okay and everything, and the shooters were caught, but my school is like flipping out about gang wars about to erupt cause theres been a lot of tension lately and this was like the breaking point. so half the school stayed home today and a huge fight broke out during one of the lunchs. the scary part for me was that when the shooting happened at one of the street, i was at the other end heading for the train to go home. i left the school just before it went into lock down. crazy stuff...."

HOLY SHIT DUDES. NORTH QUINCY HAS BLACK PEOPLE.

when i was at north the biggest fights were between wollaston and montclair, this shit is out of control.

i do think there was a big fight between two groups of asians or some shit, not entirely sure.

and some squantum/wollaston feuding but i think that was usually settled by josh and andrew with after school games of bag-tag in the front lobby.

there was going to be a big freaks vs. jocks fight at the t around christmas my freshman year, but half the freaks went to andy's skaristmas party instead.

also, reading josh's sister's post makes me sad. so much about that school has changed since i went there. it's not just the safety & morals of the students that has slipped, the english department looks to have really gone down hill as well.
