The "Bottle Rocket Kings" are a central Maine based rock driven ska band
with the energy to liven up any crowd. They have been together for over two
years and their tight live performance makes them among the elite of
youthful musicians. The "Bottle Rocket Kings" are not your typical young
band, having played with artists such as Shufflin’ Tremble, Say Zu Zu, and
the Rustic Overtones, they have honed their skills and established a
reputation for being a talented group of musicians.
Their talent earned them the title of the "best young band in Maine" in the
fifteenth annual Reindeer Records Rock-Off, just six months after winning
the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School battle of the bands. The group
has produced a CD entitled "The Ska to Prove It", and are currently working
on their sophomore album, scheduled to be released this February.
