6CENTS is a 6 piece punk/ska band from the hic town of Littleton MA. The band was born in March of 1998. Their first written song by 6CENTS being "Erin" was written about a girl Wenz met at a kicked in the head show. It had a catchy horn riff and every one who has heard it has been caught humming it at least once. After that the band quicky wipped together several cookie cutter ska songs consisting of only verses and chorus's. They played birthday parties for freinds and won some talent shows in the area. 6CENTS then recorded "bang" in their attempt to feel like a real band and it was... interesting. Never-the-less they sold hundreds of copied and made a but- load of money.

Since then 6CENTS has gone through quite a metamorphosis. They've gone from playing birthday parties and garage shows to playing shows w/ such bands as BIG D, DREXEL, THE GOONIES, SUPERGLUE and DOW JONES. They are corrently a memeber of the BRC (Brunswick Records Family) and play many shows with their friends Freeto Lay and Time to Rise. 6CENTS's style has also changed from its tradtitional poppy ska sound to a more harder punker/ska sound. They have come a long way from the crappy ska band w/ squeeky horns and loose as a goose rhythm section. They're now worthy of playing w/ some of new englands greatest bands. 6CENTS has gathered quite a following and has one of the most diverse styles you'll ever find in a ska band. 6CENTS loves swearing, girls, and making their shows as entertaining as possible including Jays big air, Jesse's bass dive, and "Professor Greg says". 6CENTS is constantly finding new ways to keep the crowd coming back for more.

6CENTS IS AS DUMBASS AS IT GETS.
