A Thousand Times No are a punk band from the Boston area. We have been around since November 98. We play a pretty wide range of punk, we have some fast punk songs, hardcore songs, and some pop punk songs, but most are a cross between the styles. We aren't an overtly political band, but social commentaries are apparent in the songs. Lyric subjects range from silly stuff like the character "Six" from the TV show Blossom and guys with bad combovers, to personal songs about girlfriends or friendships gone bad, to more serious subjects like sexism, racism and calling people on hypocrisy, to some more introspective emotional lyrics (most prevelant in our newer songs.) Influences include, but are nowhere near limitted to: AFI, Violent Society, Crimpshrine, The F.U.'s, 7Seconds, OpIvy, Avail, Minor Threat, Econochrist, Dillinger Four, The Freeze, Good Riddance, and many others.
